Brad Binder had a solid weekend riding his KTM RC16 at the Buddh International Circuit in New Delhi, securing two fourth-place finishes in the Tissot Sprint and the Main Moto GP race.
Despite starting 14th on the grid due to some yellow flag issues during qualifying, Binder gave it his all and managed to finish ahead of Joan Mir on the Repsol Honda but behind former champion Fabio Quartararo.
While it wasn’t the result they were hoping for, coming from 12th to 4th was still commendable. Binder noted that they worked hard to maximize their performance, although they struggled a bit in slower corners. “It’s clear what we need to improve for the future and hopefully for Japan,” Binder stated. He maintained consistent performance but ran out of tire grip with 5 laps to go, making it a challenging day. Despite the difficulties, he gave it his all, even if it didn’t quite meet his expectations.
Meanwhile, his teammate, Jack Miller, faced a tough race but managed to make a comeback, finishing in 14th place and securing 2 championship points after initially dropping to last in the opening corners.
